Masiza received her BA in Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic Arts, and later graduated from the University of Maryland University College with a Global MBA. While in school, she worked as a personal assistant and at Total Wine & More in McLean, Virginia as a Front End Team Member. She has completed internship and consulting work with the Embassy of South Africa, Brand South Africa (USA), Total Wine & More Store Support Center, and Genpact (India). She is currently a consultant in web‑content development. Masiza is also a Co‑founder of SACU and serves on the Board as Director of Finance & Fundraising.
