Through our online platform, Southern African News, we share popular news stories and regional updates across social media to keep our community informed and connected. Our TV Show Southern African Connection provides a dedicated platform for Southern African issues, events, and voices through engaging on‑air and online programming.
Beyond these signature programs, we bring storytelling into festivals, forums, and community gatherings—ensuring that the narratives of our people are celebrated, amplified, and never forgotten.

Storytelling
Wherever we gather, there is always a story to be told. Whether at festivals, forums, or cultural gatherings, we tell stories that matter to us —highlighting lived experiences, celebrating our heritage, and amplifying community narratives. At these events, our storytelling becomes a living, shared experience: we capture the memories that connect us to home, uplift the journeys of Southern Africans in the diaspora, and shine a light on the people, places, and traditions that shape our identity. For example, at past fashion shows, we have recreated common scenes from the village or home. At the Ubuntu Festival, we have staged a village‑scene short play and featured an artist demonstrating how his artwork tells the story and history of the region. Through such cultural showcases, we ensure that Southern African experiences are seen, heard, and honored wherever our community gathers. In addition, our medias platform we continue to tell the stories of Southern Africa through interviews, cultural showcases, on‑site media coverage, and community conversations — we keep the drumbeat of our collective story alive.

Southern African Connection is our television show airing on public television and online platform dedicated to bringing Southern African diaspora stories, voices, and perspectives to life. The show serves as a vibrant platform where issues affecting our diaspora are explored through interviews, cultural segments, and community‑driven conversations. Each episode highlights the people, traditions, and experiences that shape Southern African identity—whether showcasing artists and entrepreneurs, covering local events, or discussing topics that matter to families across the region.
