A founding member of the Diamondale Foundation and author of An Eye Opener for SMEs, Mathews has an extensive background in marketing and business project management. He obtained his Diploma in Marketing in Zambia at Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Science.
In May 2008, Mathews graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC), and later earned his Master’s degree in Business Project Management from UMUC in May 2010. He became certified as a CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) in 2009.
As a business professional, he is also certified in Property and Casualty Insurance and holds a certificate in Real Estate. He has contributed effectively in the field of marketing through his work with the Maryland Auto Insurance Fund and Parts Authority. Mathews currently executes his daily duties as a Certified Associate in Project Management at Capitol Hill with the United States Capitol Historical Society, where he has delivered numerous presentations.
He previously worked as a Store Manager at Payless ShoeSource. In Zambia, he served as a Sales Representative for Non‑Life Insurance at Zambia State Insurance, a Sales Executive at Star Commercial, and a Regional Sales Representative at Buffalo Paints.
